SwapFace with an Android emulator

We use BlueStacks as an example to demonstrate setting up an Android emulator.
You could start an emulator and install WhatsApp on it.

Firstly, adjust the emulator’s resolution, choosing portrait display mode. It’s important to note that the DPI should not be too high, as this can sometimes cause issues.

Secondly, select the preferred camera software. We recommend using ManyCam or WeCam, as Swapfacecam tends to have lower frame rates, and OBS may not work well.

Finally, An essential and most important STEP following the launch is to rotate the screen orientation. Make the portrait emulator run in landscape mode.

After rotate:

WhatsApp in a two-column layout.

If the UI doesn’t match the example below, configure the resolution and rotation if they match the tutorial, then try again.

After these adjustments, you can run applications just as you would on your smartphone. However, some users have reported poor camera resolution. For those seeking higher quality, consider exploring other high-quality Android emulators or alternative solutions.
