Swapface Android Emulator Tutorial

We’ll use Nox as an example to demonstrate setting up the Android emulator. You can start the emulator and install WhatsApp on it.

1. Software Preparation

• Download all the files from Transfer.it,
• 1 Install the OBS in it, the version of OBS is also important.
• 2 Install Wecam, WeCam seems clearer than ManyCam for this task.
• 3 Unzip the AN9Picker.zip file before the next step. (AN9Picker is a tool shared by marktohark. It is used to change the default camera of Android emulators.)
• 4 Install nox
• 5 Install vc_redist.x86.exe

2. Camera Setup

Rotate the USB camera 90 degrees to the RIGHT, and place the camera vertically.

3 Swapface Set

You should make sure you have finished the before steps.

Restart the swapface, re-plug in the USB camera, and follow the GIF tutorial below.

Three steps:

1. Select your USB camera in Camera list.
2. Select ‘OBS Virtual Camera’ as the Virtual Camera in Swapface
3. Set the resolution to 1920×1080
4. switch the Rotate to 90 degrees (because we rotate the camera, most important one)

Note: If you not seen yourself in swapface, just do the 1-3 step without rotate do a test. then add the step 4 rotate back do a full step.

Or restart your PC

If you have seen yourself in swapface, go to next step

4. Virtual Camera Import

WeCam/ManyCam Settings

You need to import the OBS Virtual Camera into WeCam or ManyCam.

We do two step in Wecam

1.new project->camera project

2. select obs virtual camera, if the resolution is not 1920×1080, restart the wecam.

3. rotate in wecam

4. start the wecam

Manycam

If you installed manycam instead wecam follow below tutorial.

Emulator and Tool Configuration

Preparetion

Start the Nox Android Emulator.

Install whatsapp in nox emuator.

Go to Settings, select ‘Mobile phone’, and set the resolution to 1080×1920 or 900×1600. Restart Nox.

Sometimes you need to disable the hyper-v before run the Nox

Injection

Close Nox. Run the AN9PickerUI.exe.

Select the Wecam.

Click ‘Inject’

Select Nox.exe from Nox installation directory (such as C:\Program Files\Nox\bin\Nox.exe).

Make a video call in Whatsapp.
